Gifts That Anyone Can Make to PASSi

Did you know there are ways to support Penn Asian Senior Services that don't affect your current lifestyle or your family's security?

You can support Penn Asian Senior Services with gifts that don't impact the way you live by designating Penn Asian Senior Services to receive estate assets in the future, or by making immediate gifts to us of assets that are "out of sight and out of mind."

We call these "Gifts Anyone Can Make" because anyone can make them now without impacting cash flow, lifestyle, or family security.

Gifts from Your Trust or Will (Bequest)

How It Works

  • Include a bequest to Penn Asian Senior Services in your will or trust.
  • Leave your bequest unrestricted or direct it to a specific purpose.
  • Indicate a specific amount, or a percentage of the balance remaining in your estate or trust.

  • Your assets remain in your control during your lifetime.
  • You can modify your gift to address changing circumstances.
  • You can direct your gift to a particular purpose. (Be sure to check with us to make sure your gift can be used as intended.)

Under current tax law, there is no upper limit on the estate tax deduction for your charitable bequests.

Life Insurance

How It Works

  • You transfer ownership of a paid-up life insurance policy to Penn Asian Senior Services.
  • The organization elects to cash in the policy now or hold it.

  • Make a gift using an asset that you and your family no longer need.
  • Receive an income tax deduction.
