Save the date for the PASSi Autumn Festival on SEPT 29th!

PASSi Autumn Festival3  PASSi Autumn Festival 2

Vietnam, China and Cambodia have almost the same full moon as the Korean holiday Chuseok (Autumn Festival).  Even though there are similar games and food, each country has unique rituals. The Asian Autumn Festival is an opportunity to introduce their own culture to others.  Attendees will enjoy the unique Autumn Festival and be proud in their own culture while introducing it to others. Eating delicious Asian food, wearing ethnic dress, sharing cultural music and dance are important ways that we can all celebrate our differences as well as gain greater appreciation for the many ways we are alike.  All are welcome to attend this FREE community event at PASSi!

New wheelchair accessible vans for PASSi

PASSi new vans

Penn Asian Senior Services christens two new wheelchair accessible vans with support from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation!

The two new vans will provide much needed transportation to seniors from PASSi’s adult day care program, Penn Asian Jubilee Center.  Seniors served through Penn Asian Jubilee Center are low-income, primarily English-limited Asian Americans residing in Greater Philadelphia.  Language barriers inhibit these seniors from utilizing public transit services including CCT Connect.
