Im Ja P. Choi, M.S. 
Founder & CEO

Im Ja Choi is the Founder and current CEO of Penn Asian Senior Service (PASSi) and its subsidiaries. Addionally, she serves as a council member for the Pennsylvania Department of Aging Cultural Diversity Advisory Council, and a commissioner of the Pennsylvania Commission on Women. Ms. Choi received her MS degree in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania, and her B.A. degree from Korea University in Seoul.

 

Kenneth Yang, J.D. 
Managing Director

Mr. Yang is responsible for matters of regulatory compliance, working closely with governmental and organizational program partners to ensure PASSi’s conformity with all contractual and licensure requirements. He is also involved in areas of new business development, such as the renovation of the south building on PASSi’s campus. Mr. Yang holds a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law.


Fallon Every, M.P.H. 
Development Director

Ms. Every researches, writes, and prepares government, foundation and corporate grant proposals and reports that align with PASSi’s mission. She also helps to develop and maintain positive relationships with funders. She holds a Master's in Public Health from Arcadia University and a B.S. in Psychology from Gwynedd Mercy University.


Brenda Gumarang
Executive Assistant

Ms. Gumarang is the Executive Assistant to PASSi's CEO and also the Training Manager of Penn Asian Vocational Institute.  Her role as the Training Manager is to recruit and enroll prospective nurse aide candidates and maintain program compliance with the Department of Education-NATCEP and Private License School Divisions.


Young Eun Park, B.S.W., M.A. 
PAJC Adult Daycare Director
 
Young Eun has been working with the Asian population, young and old, in Philadelphia for 10 years in various capacities.  She has a desire to contribute to the well-being of the community and aid in the work of reconciliation.  Young holds a Bachelor's in Social Work from Temple university as well as a Master of Arts in Counseling from Biblical Seminary.

Brad Baldia, M.P.H.
Community Relations Officer
 
Mr. Baldia is responsible for marketing/public relations, social media, government relations and business development/external affairs.  He serves on various boards and commissions like the PA Governor's Advisory Commission on Asian Pacific Americans, Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival and the Asian American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Philadelphia.  He holds a Masters in Public Health from Temple University and a BA in English and Biology from Bucknell University.
